ID-NET is an innovative initiative of Birrama Digital Commerce PLC, dedicated to enhancing financial inclusion in Ethiopia. Through a dynamic, predominantly women focused, result oriented-led agent network and mobile-first technology, ID-NET distributes microfinance and micro insurance services to undeserved communities across the country by leveraging existing community structures.

ID-NET is seeking committed and community-oriented Microfinance Distribution Agents to serve as vital liaisons between the platform and local communities. This opportunity is ideal for individuals passionate about empowering others and expanding access to essential financial services.

Position: Digital Community Microfinance & Insurance Agent

Candidate Requirements:

• At least 21 years of age
• Hold a degree from a recognized institution in any field of study.
• Marketing and Sales experience is a huge plus.
• Passionate about community development and social impact
• Excellent communicators and motivators
• Tech-savvy, or willing to learn and adapt to mobile-based platforms
• Trustworthy, reliable, and well-known in their communities
• Fluent in Amharic and other local languages (English proficiency is a plus)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized guidance on ID-NET’s financial products and services
• Onboard new users to the ID-NET platform
• Facilitate enrollment in savings and insurance schemes
• Manage deposits, withdrawals, premium collections, and claims processing
• Promote financial literacy and responsible money management
• Utilize local networks, including Iddirs, to grow ID-NET’s outreach
• Ensure access to services for women and marginalized community members.
