The Junior Accountant at Bios Engineering and Trading PLC plays a vital role in supporting the Finance Department by maintaining accurate financial records and assisting in the preparation of financial reports. This full-time position is designed for candidates with two years of experience as a cashier, petty cashier, or bookkeeper who are eager to grow their accounting skills in an office environment.
Position: Junior Accountant
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Proficient in Microsoft Office tools
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial data.
- Experience with QuickBooks for efficient financial management.
- Ability to analyze financial data and identify trends.
- Capability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of financial transactions in QuickBooks.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions timely.
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare and submit tax returns and other regulatory documents.
- Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Maintain organized financial filing systems.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure accurate data entry.
- Provide support during audits by preparing necessary documentation.
