Qualifications and Requirements
- Education: Minimum of Grade 10 completion.
- Experience: Previous experience in a hospital or clinic is an advantage.
- Physically fit and able to assist patients safely.
- Responsible, respectful, and hardworking.
- Able to work well with a team.
Position Summary
The Porter supports patients and medical staff by helping with safe movement within the facility. The role mainly involves assisting patients using wheelchairs and ensuring their comfort and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients in moving around the center using wheelchairs and stretchers.
- Escort patients to treatment rooms, therapy sessions, and diagnostic areas.
- Support patients during admission and discharge.
- Help elderly and physically challenged patients with care and respect.
- Transport medical supplies, equipment, and documents when needed.
