Position 1: Sales Field Agent — Customer Recruitment & Engagement

Qualification: Minimum TVET Level 4 or Diploma in any field (Bachelor’s degree is an advantage)

Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in field sales, community outreach, microfinance, or customer service. Fresh graduates with strong communication skills are encouraged to apply

Position Summary

Atrafi Digital Equb Financial Technology PLC is looking for energetic and self-motivated Field Agents to recruit new equb members, promote the digital equb platform, and engage communities. This is a target-driven role with strong earning potential based on performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Visit households, businesses, and communities daily
  • Promote the Atrafi Digital Equb app and services
  • Assist customers with app registration and onboarding
  • Participate in community events and promotions
  • Follow up with existing members for retention and referrals
  • Collect and report customer feedback
  • Meet and exceed recruitment targets
  • Submit daily activity reports
  • Represent the company professionally
  • Cover assigned geographic areas effectively
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Number of new customers recruited
  • Daily field activity level
  • Customer retention rate
  • App onboarding completion rate
  • Participation in community activities
Language Requirements
  • Fluency in Amharic is required
  • Additional local languages are an advantage
Working Conditions
  • Field-based role across Addis Ababa
  • Monday to Saturday schedule
  • Occasional weekend community events
  • 60-day probation period
  • Requires daily movement within assigned areas

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: ETB 8,000 (Gross) + Commission (ETB 50 per verified customer) + 50% bonus for 200+ customers

Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Position 2: Operations Manager

Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or related field. Additional certifications in leadership, microfinance, or financial services are an advantage

Experience: Minimum 5 years of managerial or supervisory experience. Experience in SACCO, Microfinance, Equb operations, Financial services, or Field sales/community-based operations is required

Position Summary

Atrafi Digital Equb Financial Technology PLC is seeking a results-driven and disciplined Operations Manager to lead and oversee day-to-day equb operations. The successful candidate will manage field teams, drive customer acquisition, and ensure operational excellence while supporting financial inclusion through Ethiopia’s traditional equb system.

Core Managerial Duties
  • Plan, organize, and supervise daily equb operations to ensure efficient service delivery
  • Translate company strategy into actionable operational plans
  • Lead, motivate, coach, and manage team performance
  • Set measurable performance targets and monitor progress
  • Assign field employees to specific geographic areas
  • Ensure active field engagement with households, communities, and businesses
  • Conduct regular team meetings and provide feedback
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
  • Resolve operational challenges and implement preventive solutions
  • Enforce company policies and compliance standards
