We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant with at least one year of professional experience to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of basic accounting principles, good numerical skills, and basic IT competence.
Position: Accountant/Office Assistance
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Basic IT skills, including:
- Microsoft Excel, Word, and other office tools
- Familiarity with accounting software is an advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and general ledgers
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Assist in budgeting, financial forecasting, and reporting
- Ensure accuracy of financial documents and compliance with regulations
- Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies
- Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records
- Use accounting software and basic computer applications (Excel, Word, etc.)
- Assist in audits and tax preparation as required
