Addis Ababa Silk Road General Hospital (ASRGH) was constructed in Addis Ababa, the capital city of Ethiopia in 2017 in an echo of the “Belt and Road Initiative” by AFEI Holding.

This 14 story, new state-of-the-art hospital is committed to enhance China-Africa unbreakable friendship and strengthen innovation and practice to improve healthcare in Africa. This new facility is designed for two specific groups: patients and their families and the healthcare professionals.

Position 1: General Practitioner

Minimum Specification Requirement

Educational Qualification & Work Experience

Graduated from accredited University /Medical college
Professional license to practice medicine in Ethiopia, issued by the relevant regulatory body.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital or health center setting.

Knowledge & Skill requirements

Succeeded in National Competency Exit Exam (51% and above)
In-depth knowledge of general medical principles, clinical procedures, and evidence-based practices.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with sound clinical judgment.
Ability to manage a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
Proficiency in patient examination, history taking, and medical documentation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with patients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple cases efficiently.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and make quick, accurate medical decisions.
Familiarity with hospital information systems and basic computer skills.
Commitment to patient-centered care, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
Certificate on BLS and ACLS training.
Strong understanding of clinical guidelines, protocols, and evidence-based medicine.
Proficiency in patient assessment, clinical decision-making, and management of common illnesses.
Have good communication skill.
Have some computer skills.
The ability to offer emotional support to parents, guardians, and family members.
The ability to work in a team.
Language: Fluent in English (oral & written)

Position 2: Radiology Technologists

Educational Qualification & Work Experience

Graduated from accredited University /Medical college Bachelor’s Degree in Radiology Technology
Professional license or certification from the relevant health regulatory authority in Ethiopia.
Minimum of 2 years of practical experience in diagnostic imaging services (hospital or clinical setting preferred).
Valid/renewed professional license

Knowledge & Skill requirements

Strong knowledge of radiology imaging techniques, procedures, and equipment operation.
Understanding of radiation safety, protection measures, and regulatory compliance.
Ability to produce high-quality diagnostic images with accuracy and attention to detail.
Competence in patient positioning, preparation, and communication to ensure comfort and safety.
Familiarity with hospital information systems and digital imaging software.
Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills to handle technical or patient related issues.
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a healthcare team.
Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality, professional ethics, and high standards of care.
Have good communication skill.
Have some computer skills.
