Action Against Hunger NGO Vacancy
Action Against Hunger is an International, Non-Governmental humanitarian organization that takes decisive action against the causes and effects of hunger through implementing relief and development programs in different regions of Ethiopia.
The country Office was established in 1985 in response to severe drought and subsequent famine, implementing relief and development projects in Eritrea (prior to 1993), Tigray, Amhara and Oromia regions. Since then, Action Against Hunger, worked periodically in all regions of Ethiopia responding to different crisis and building people’s resilience.
Position: ICT Officer
Required Qualifications and Professional Experience:
- BSC Degree in Information technology ,Computer science, Information System or other relevant degree from a recognized institution
- At least 3 years’ experience in Humanitarian context.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Experience in providing technical assistance across a variety of departments
- Excellent spoken and technical writing ability in English, including report writing
- Good communication skills – Organizational skills – Adaptability – Pedagogical approach – Rigor, Flexibility and patience.
- Good knowledge of the Windows operating environment and Microsoft Office ( 2010, 2016), Microsoft 365.
- Good knowledge of IT troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Good Knowledge of networks and wireless technologies.
