ACTED is a French humanitarian NGO, founded in 1993, which supports vulnerable populations, affected by humanitarian crises worldwide. ACTED provides continued support to vulnerable communities by ensuring the sustainability of post-crisis interventions and engaging long-term challenges facing our target populations, in order to break the poverty cycle, foster development and reduce vulnerability to disasters.
Their interventions seek to cover the multiple aspects of humanitarian and development crises through a multidisciplinary approach that is both global and local and adapted to each context. ACTED is looking for a professionally confident, self-motivated, experienced, and committed team player to fill the HR/Admin Intern position in Addis Ababa.
Position: HR/Admin Intern
REQUIREMENTS:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Management/ Human Resource, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
POSITION PROFILE
The HR /Admin Intern will assist the HR team with administrative tasks, employee records management, recruitment support, and other HR related activities. This internship provides hands on experience in HR operations and an opportunity to develop essential skills in human resource management.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
- Scan HR/Admin related documents.
- Assist organize HR events, training sessions, and employee engagement activities.
- Handling paperwork, filing, and organizing office supplies.
- Digitizing physical documents for storage.
- Tracking office supplies and ordering replacements.
- Handling small tasks like deliveries or pickups.
- Inputting and updating records in databases.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and labor regulations.
