ACE is seeking to recruit a motivated Junior Accountant to join our Finance and Operations team. The Junior Accountant will provide day-to-day financial and administrative support to ensure ACE’s operations run smoothly, in compliance with internal financial manuals, HR policies, and country legal frameworks.

Position: Jr. Accountant

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Educational background in Accounting, Finance, Management, Business Administration, or other relevant fields.
• A CGPA of 3.00 and above is MANDATORY.
• 0–2 years of relevant work experience in accounting or administration.
• Good knowledge of Ethiopian tax, payroll & pension, & financial reporting requirements.

Desired Skills and Competencies

• Fluency in English and Amharic (office language) required, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency and mastery of relevant software such as Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PPT).
• Knowledge of Peachtree/Sage and other relevant accounting software is a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Integrity, professionalism, and ability to maintain confidentiality.
