Position: Junior Technician
Education: Diploma or TVET Level IV in General Mechanics or related fields.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year relevant experience. Experience in banking industry is advantageous.
Job Objective:
To perform and support the installation, maintenance, and repair of all electrical and mechanical systems of the Bank’s buildings in the District and Branch Offices. This ensures optimal functionality, safety, and cleanliness of, thereby contributing to operational excellence and the satisfaction of all internal and external stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Advice any issues concerning electro – mechanical installations, electrical and mechanical fittings and alternative solutions.
- Report severe electrical issues and major/critical equipment maintenance concerns to the District Office to secure necessary support from the Head Office.
- Prepare detailed material requirement lists during electromechanical installation and maintenance, and submit the necessary requests for procurement.
- Regularly report the electro – mechanical works done to his supervisor.
- Conduct electrically driven equipment & devices and mechanical line installation works of offices & buildings.
- Participate in and support all electromechanical and related installation and maintenancะต activities at the District’s buildings and branch offices when performed by the Head Office technical team.
- Ensure that all installation is carried out in accordance with the Bank’s drawing and specifications criteria.
- Identify, follow-up and maintain electrical and mechanical defects including lifts, pumps, generators and other electrical devices machine and specifies the necessary maintenance work for building installation and certifies that they are in good order.
- Install, repair and maintain water pipes and fixtures to the District office and Branches as deemed necessary.
- Install generators and alarm system to District office and Branches as deemed necessary.
- Inspect electrical materials & equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operation.
- Ensure that defective electrical materials/machines, generators, & lifts are properly maintained by external companies as per the requirement.
- Facilitate and participate in the installation and maintenance of new and existing telephone and electric lines to the District’s office, Branches and Bank’s Building, when it needs to be maintained by external companies.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
