Positron: Accountant

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 0 – 2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles (entry-level).
• Proficiency in accounting software, especially Peachtree.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, tax laws, auditing, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing and organizing required documentation.
• Ensure timely filing of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations.
• Calculate and process VAT, payroll taxes, and other mandatory contributions.
• Manage invoices, payments, and receipts from clients and vendors.
