Position: Senior Credit Review-Internal/External
- Qualification: Master’s Degree/BA Degree in Economics, Management, Accounting or other business-related fields
- Experience: with 3/5 years of banking experience respectively, of which 2 years as Credit Review Officer.
Job & Responsibilities:
- To identify gaps in underwriting, approval, monitoring, relationship management and credit administration activities.
- Provide assistance and consultation to lending and credit personnel, auditors, and regulatory examiners.
- Ensure consistent application of firm-wide Risk Policy Credit Review policies and procedures.
- Identify loans with potential credit weakness and any relevant trends that may affect collectability.
- Develop, implement, and oversee ongoing risk-based credit review programs for all Shabelle Bank loan portfolios.
- To identify existing and/or emerging issues relating to credit quality and risk.
- To identify portfolio concentrations.
- Prepare risk assessment and comprehensive loan review report for both financial and non-financial activities and submit to the Risk and Compliance division manager.
