The People in Need organization was established in 1992 by a group of Czech war correspondents who were no longer satisfied with merely relaying information about ongoing conflicts and began sending out aid. It gradually became established as a professional humanitarian organization striving to provide aid in troubled regions and support adherence to human rights around the world.

PIN would like to invite energetic, disciplined, responsible Female intern applicant to work under Emergency Intern.

Position 1: Emergency Intern

Job Requirements:

• Minimum BA degree in Humanitarian Studies, Disaster Risk Management, Public Health Environmental Health, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Civil Engineering, Social Sciences, International development, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and other related fields of study from a recognized higher education institution
• Only Graduates of 2023 or 2024 E.C
• Only zero years of work experience required
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Organizational skills and attention to detail
• Good judgment regarding confidentiality and respect for sensitive materials
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Only Female Candidate
• Excellent knowledge of spoken & written Amharic and English
• 3 strong references (will be crosschecked/contacted.

Salary: 6,500 ETB

Place of Work:– Based in Addis Ababa with frequent field travel to PIN’s project sites in different regions as required.

Position 2: IT Intern

Job Requirements:

• Minimum BA degree in Computer Science Technology and Information System and other related fields of study from a recognized higher education institution
• Only Graduates of 2023 or 2024 E.C
• Only zero years of work experience required
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Installing, and reinstalling operating system
• Installing software and Software updates
• Connecting client stations to network resources
• Setting up and maintaining sustainable protection against malicious software (viruses, worms, trojan horses, spyware etc.)
• Setting up and maintaining basic LAN and Wireless network o
• Troubleshooting of client’s hardware and software problems
• Good judgment regarding confidentiality and respect for sensitive materials
• Only Female Candidate
• Excellent knowledge of spoken & written Amharic and English
• 3 strong references (will be crosschecked/contacted.

Salary: 6,500 ETB

Place of Work: – Based in Hawassa Sidama Region with frequent field travel to PIN’s project sites in different regions as required.
