Nib Insurance Company invites qualified applicants for the following positions.

Nib Insurance Company (NIC) was established by 658 shareholders with an authorized capital of Birr 50.0 million and a Paid-Up Capital of Birr 14.0 million in May 02, 2002 with 4 branches in Addis Ababa and a total staff size of not more than 50.

Currently, the paid up capital has reached to Birr 250 million and the number of shareholders increased to 1,014. NIC provides both General (Non-Life) Insurance and Life Assurance Services to its clients.

The Company undertakes its operations through its Head Office, 42 branches and 1 Contact Office (For the General Insurance) and 1 Life Assurance branch. Twenty-Seven of the branches are located in Addis Ababa. Currently, the number of employees working for NIC has reached to 500.

Position 1: Junior Auditor

Education: BA Degree in Accounting or Accounting and Finance or Management or in related fields • Applicants must be graduates of 2023/24 G.C or 2016 E.C and who scored passing mark in the exit exam

Education: BA Degree in Banking and Insurance or Management or Accounting or Economics or in related fields

Work Experience & Required Skills: 2 years of relevant work experience

Position 4: Data Base And Web Page Administration Officer

Education: BSc Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or Information Technology or MIS or in related fields

Work Experience & Required Skills: 2 years’ experience as Data Base and Web page Administration Officer I or in a similar position

Position 5: Senior Salvage And Recovery Handling Officer

Education: BA Degree in Banking and Insurance, Management, Accounting and finance, Economics, or related fields of study or Diploma (Level IV) in Automotive or Law or in related fields

Work Experience & Required Skills: 4 year relevant experience for BA Degree holders, of which 2 years in Underwriting/Claims Officer or Salvage and Recovery Handling Officer or in a similar position or 7 years & above relevant experience for Diploma holders, of which 4 years as Salvage and Recovery Handling Officer or Underwriting Officer or Claims Officer or in a similar position

Position 6: Senior Claims Officer

Education: BA Degree in Banking & Insurance or Management or Accounting & Finance or Economics or Statistics or Mathematics or in related fields

Work Experience & Required Skills: 4 years relevant experience out of which 2 years as Claims Officer II or Underwriting Officer II.

Position 7: Senior Information Technology System Administrator

Education: BSc Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Software Engineering or Information Technology or in related fields

Work Experience & Required Skills: 6 years relevant experience

Position 8: Branch Manager I

Education: BA Degree in Banking & Insurance or Management or Accounting & Finance or Economics or Statistics or Mathematics or in related fields

Work Experience & Required Skills: 5 years relevant experience, of which 2 years in Senior Underwriting/Claims Officer or 1 year as Contact Office Head or 3 years as Underwriting/ Claims Officer II or in a similar position

Position 9: Branch Manager II

Work Experience & Required Skills: 6 years relevant experience, of which 1 year in Branch Manager I position or in a similar position

Position 10: Branch Manager III

Education: BA Degree in Banking & Insurance or Management or Accounting & Finance or Economics or Statistics or Mathematics or in related fields

Work Experience & Required Skills: 7 years relevant experience, of which 1 year in Branch Manager II position or in a similar position
