Meba Microfinance Institution S.C, under Formation, is a microfinance institution registered by the National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE) as a microfinance institution under formation.

Meba Micro finance Institution S.C. Under Formation has almost completed its preparation phase and is working towards finalizing the requirements of the NBE to commence a full-fledged operation. The head quarter of Meba MFI will be in Addis Ababa.

The objective of Meba MFIs is to enhance the financial inclusion of the communities all over Ethiopia that do not have access to finance and financial services from conventional banks while ensuring a fair profit to its shareholders. Meba MFI currently has more than 980 shareholders.

Position 1: Junior/Trainee Customer Service Officer

Education:   

  •   BA Degree/College Diploma/TVET level 4 in Marketing/ Management/Accounting and Other related fields,

 Experience:  

  • Zero year of relevant experience, out of which two years in a similar position
  • Good knowledge of microfinance business
  • Sufficient knowledge of company operation policies
  • Considerable knowledge of  banking and marketing management principles and practices
  • Knowledge of financial and marketing management principles and practices
  • Good communication skills

The Junior/Trainee Customer Service Officer responsible for familiarizes with overall company and branch operations, gathers macro and micro economic performance data from various sources and   organizes and practices identification of potential money savers.

Position 2: Branch Cashier I

Education:   

  •   BA Degree/College Diploma/TVET level 4 in Marketing/ Management/Accounting and Other related fields,

 Experience:  

  • 0/2 years of relevant experience, out of which one year in a similar position
  • Good knowledge of microfinance business
  • Basic Knowledge of accounting principles
  • Basic knowledge of records management
  • Basic computer applications skills 

Position 3: Customer Service Officer I

Education:   

  • BA Degree/College Diploma/TVET level 4 in Marketing/ Management/Accounting and Other related fields,

 Experience:  

  • 2/3 years of relevant experience, out of which two years in a similar position
  • Good knowledge of microfinance business
  • Sufficient knowledge of company operation policies
  • Considerable knowledge of  banking and marketing management principles and practices
  • Knowledge of financial and marketing management principles and practices
  • Good communication skills

Position 3: Branch Accountant I

 Education:   

  • BA Degree/College Diploma/TVET level 4 in Accounting and Finance

 Experience:  

  • 2/3 years of relevant experience, out of which two years in a similar position
  • Good knowledge of microfinance business
  • Good knowledge of financial analyses methods and techniques
  • Good knowledge of company financial policies and NBE and FIC directives and regulations
  • Ability to compile and prepare financial reports
  • Basic computer and Peachtree application skills

Position 4: Executive Secretary Cashier

Education:   

  • BA Degree/College Diploma/TVET level 4 in Secretarial Science and Office Management or related field

 Experience:  

  • 3/4 years in secretarial position out of which two years in a similar position
  • Excellent knowledge  of office management principles and practices
  • Excellent knowledge of business correspondence and  report writing
  • Ability to organize files and documents
  • Excellent communication and human relation
  • Basic computer skills and secretarial management software application skills

Position 5: Executive Secretary Cashier

 Education:   

  • BA Degree/College Diploma/TVET level 4 in Secretarial Science and Office Management or related field

 Experience:  

  • 3/4 years in secretarial position out of which two years in a similar position
  • Excellent knowledge  of office management principles and practices
  • Excellent knowledge of business correspondence and  report writing
  • Ability to organize files and documents
  • Excellent communication and human relation
  • Basic computer skills and secretarial management software application skills

Position 6: Branch Manager I

Education:   

  •  BA Degree/College Diploma in Marketing/Management/Economics/Accounting or related field

 Experience:  

  • 2/4 years of relevant experience, out of which two years in a similar or senior position
  • Ability to provide leadership, communicate effectively, and promote a team approach to enhance staff commitment to successfully implement the Organization’s Strategic Plan;
  • Demonstrated technical and managerial ability, sound judgment, ability to interact and work effectively with others staff to achieve the organization goals;
  • Ability to mobilized fund from different sources.
  • Ability to work with different partners
  • Basic computer skills, Excellent written and oral communication skills

Position 7: Marketing, Planning and Business Development Officer

 Education:   

  • MA/ B.A degree in Accounting and Finance and Business Administration field of studies.

 Experience:  

  • 2/4 years of relevant experience, out of which two years in a similar position
  • Ability to provide leadership, communicate effectively, and promote a team approach to enhance staff commitment to successfully implement the Organization’s Strategic Plan;
  • Demonstrated technical and managerial ability, sound judgment, ability to interact and work effectively with others staff to achieve the organization goals;
  • Ability to mobilized fund from different sources.
  • Ability to work with different partners
  • Basic computer skills, project management software/SPSS/ STATA statically software;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Position 8: Finance and Administration Manager

Education:   

  • Hold a minimum of first degree from a recognized higher learning institution in BA/MBA/MA/MSc. in Accounting, Economics, Management, or related fields.
Experience:  
  • 8/6 years of relevant experience, out of which three years in a managerial position,Excellent understanding of innovative systems and IT infrastructures in managing MFIs.Clear understanding and experience of micro-finance industry.Demonstrated experience leading and building cohesive, high-performing teams.

Position 9: Finance and Administration Manager

Education:   

  • Hold a minimum of first degree from a recognized higher learning institution in BA/MBA/MA/MSc. in Accounting, Economics, Management, or related fields.

Experience:  

  • 8/6 years of relevant experience, out of which three years in a managerial position,
  • Excellent understanding of innovative systems and IT infrastructures in managing MFIs.
  • Clear understanding and experience of micro-finance industry.

Position 10: Operation Department Manager

Education:   

  • Hold a minimum of first degree from a recognized higher learning institution in BA/MBA/MA/MSc. in Accounting, Economics, Management, or related fields.

 Experience:  

  • 8/6 years of relevant experience, out of which three years in a managerial position,
  • Excellent understanding of innovative systems and IT infrastructures in managing MFIs.
  • Clear understanding and experience of micro-finance industry.
  • Demonstrated experience leading and building cohesive, high-performing teams.
