Position: Senior Accountant

Qualifications:

  • Female fresh graduates of 2022/23
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 1 – 2 years of experience in accounting role.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS, and financial reporting requirements.
  • Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Skills:

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Effective verbal, listening, and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain financial records: Ensure all financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
  • Financial reporting: Compile and analyze financial information to prepare financial statements including monthly and annual accounts.
  • Budgeting and forecasting: Assist in financial audits and coordinate the budget preparation process.
  • Tax compliance: Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close processes.
  • Internal controls: Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.
  • Financial analysis: Analyze and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments, and future revenues.
  • Team leadership: Supervise accounting staff and provide guidance as needed.
