JMBS Import is an agent of a leading manufacturer and importer of non-food items in Ethiopia such as plastic sheeting, tarpaulins, canvas tents, mattresses, blankets and Jerry cans especially designed for the relief aid and emergency sector. Plastic sheeting and canvas tents are some of the most widely distributed non-food relief items used in humanitarian operations and can act as temporary building materials for families whose homes have been damaged as a result of unexpected disasters.
Each year, hundreds of thousands of polyethylene sheets and cotton canvas manufactured and imported by JMBS are distributed by NGOs and government agencies.
Since the 1990s JMBS along with its parent company has been a leading supplier of relief materials to the humanitarian sector. By supplying premium quality non-food items, the company has been a long-term provider of shelter and relief assistance to refugees all over Ethiopia.
