Huawei Technologies Ethiopia PLC invites competent and qualified candidates for the following positions.

Position 1: Service solution manager

Education and major: Computer or Information Technology related degree, a Master Degree is Preferred.

Responsible in demand analysis for targeted customer to identify Services sales opportunities. This will cover Telecom services business including: services solution design, service project operation, service solution quotation, cost budgeting and project scheduling, etc.

Required professional skills:

  • Technical knowledge background in areas such as Datacenter, storage, server, Virtualization, Cloud, Iaas, PaaS, SaaS, ..
  • An international experience(AWS, Google) would be highly preferred
  • Excellent English in both verbal and written
  • Familiar with local ecosystem and ecosystem development
  • Required soft skills
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills, can influence others to achieve results
  • Experience working autonomously and prioritizing multiple competing priorities
  • Flexibility and Proven experience to work in a high pressure environment with multiple tasks, changing priorities, and changing resources
  • Target driven and able to work towards the deadlines

Responsibilities:

  • To develop new service project opportunity by customer communication, market insight;
  • To design service solution according to understand customer requirement, pain point;
  • To quote service project base on customer budget, competition price or historic price;
  • To negotiate or clarify service price, service contract terms, supplier timeline, responsibility matrix, and scope;
  • To operate service project and execute routine tasks;
  • To build and maintain key customer relationship, responsible customer satisfaction;
  • Be responsible for bidding;

Position 2: Active & Telecom Manager / FM manager

Education and Major

  • Communication Engineering Bachelor Degree.
  • Major in electronic, communication science or relative areas

Business Skills

  • Contact customer on daily basis with professional way to handle Active elements of network and finalize monthly acceptance. 
  • Monthly Evaluate Subcontrctor’s Maintenance Teams .
  • Prepare Dashboard report on Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly basis to be reported internally and externally to customer showing Planning activities KPIs, improvement plan, and challenges and how overcome it.
  • Project Experience 
  • More than 5 years of working experience at telecom networking, with experience in Huawei Active Elements BTS/BSC/Node B/RNC/MW/IP/Router/DWDM elements of telecom network with telecom network technical, and leader, and Managerial capability.
  • Prefer to be Familiar with Huawei Managing service Process
  • Skills or Certificate
  • Microsoft Tool (Excel/Word/Power Point, PDF).
  • Language Skill: Excellent in English
  • Other requirement
  • Self-motivated and able to successfully work within a team environment.
  • Initiative and creative mentality 
  • Can travel frequently.

Professional Knowledge

  • Prepare frequently training plan for FME to standardize Preventive and corrective maintenance Visit output for active part with measure and rate the qualification of field team.
  •  Prepare Dashboard report on Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly basis to be reported internally and externally to customer showing active element TT, availability, KPIs, improvement plan, and challenges and how overcome it.
  • Prepare incident and technical report with BO before sending it to customer 
  • Monthly Evaluate field Maintenance Teams per subcontractor, to ensure FME are qualified and capable to handle Active TT.
  • Handle, manage and control subcontractor’s Field maintenance team.
