Horra Corporate Group invites fresh and qualified applicants for the following job positions.

Currently, Horra Corporate Group is led by qualified and experienced professionals, with 500 permanent staff members and 800 temporary workers working in the corporate office and in different business units.

The company manufacturing young professional program is supposed to develop high caliber young professionals in the manufacturing areas. The program will provide a hands-on experience for young professionals in the company Propylene Technology Factory. Participants will develop technical and leadership skills, and prepare for future key roles within the company.

Position 1: Presales Engineer

Job Qualification

  • Education Qualification: BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Software Engineering and any IT related sectors.
  • Work Experience: A minimum of 2+ year’s worth of experience selling technology items for a recognized tech company.
  • Solid experience in preparing technical and financial proposals and other business documentations.
  • Proficient in preparing and submitting bid proposals, having a solid understanding of the Ethiopian bidding environment.

Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill.
  • Excellent customer handling knowledge.

Position 2: DevOps Engineer

Job Qualifications:

  • Education Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Work Experience : At least 2 years of hands-on experience with managing CI/CD pipelines, Linux/Unix systems, cloud platform (AWS, Azure), and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).

Skills

  • Proficiency in tools, open-source technologies, and cloud services.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization using Docker.
  • Knowledge of microservice architecture and Agile development practices.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines to streamline development and deployment processes.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with database configuration and migration.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Google Cloud DevOps Engineer) are a plus.

Position 4: Mobile App Developer

Job Qualifications

  • Education Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or a related field
  • Work Experience: A minimum of 2 (two) years of demonstrated work experience in mobile application development.
  • Proven experience building mobile applications with the Flutter framework and Dart programming language.
  • Proficiency with development IDEs such as Android Studio, Android SDK, and Firebase Test Lab.
  • Hands-on experience using RESTful APIs and integrating third-party libraries.
  • Experience in designing and developing microservices architecture and containers.
  • Strong knowledge of object-oriented analysis, UML, and design using common design patterns.
  • Experience with offline storage, threading, performance tuning, and push notifications.
  • Familiarity with iOS integration with Flutter.

Position 5: Frontend Developer

Job Qualification

  • Education Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer engineering, or similar fields.  
  • Work Experience: A minimum of 2+ years of professional experience in Frontend development.  
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS and Javascript.  
  • Strong Knowledge of frontend frameworks such as React , Vue.js or Tailwind CSS  
  • Experience in building responsive and mobile-first web applications.  
  • Knowledge of frontend optimization techniques for performance and scalability.  
  • Experience with testing frameworks and methodologies for frontend applications.  
  • Familiarity with backend technologies and RESTful APIs and GraphQL for seamless integrations  
  • Experience in designing on Figma  
  • Experience with version control systems, such as Git  
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies   
  • Experience in implementing SEO best practices and optimizing frontend code for improved search engine visibility.  
  • Experience with user testing and usability analysis.
