The new HEINEKEN Brewery is located in Kilinto, Addis Ababa Municipality. It is Ethiopia’s biggest brewery and will produce up to 1.5 million hectolitres of Walia®, Harar®, and Bedele® and will shortly produce the Heineken® beer brand.

Heineken Ethiopia is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR Intern to support our Human Resources team. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or entry-level professional to gain hands-on experience in HR and administrative functions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Position: HR Intern

Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational Background: BA degree in Management, Marketing Management, or a related field.
• Experience: 0–1 year of relevant experience, including internships.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
• A proactive and team-oriented mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining and updating employee records in HR databases.
• Support the recruitment process, including job postings, CV screening, and interview scheduling.
• Help in on boarding and orientation of new employees, ensuring a smooth transition into the company.
• Assist in preparing HR-related reports and documentation.
• Coordinate with departments to ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures
• Assist in organizing employee engagement activities and events.
• Manage HR-related documentation and filing systems.
• Support payroll processing by gathering necessary employee information.
• Provide general administrative assistance to the HR team as needed.
