Habesha Breweries Share Company (“Habesha”) is one of the leading Ethiopian brewing companies. Habesha was initiated by a group of local Ethiopian investors in 2009. The company is currently owned by Swinkels Family Brewers Holding N.V. (60%), 8,000 local shareholders (30%), and Linssen Participations B.V. (10%).

Position: Transaction Officer

Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Experience: At least one year of relevant experience in finance, or administration.

• Skills Required:
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other record-keeping software.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Shareholder Records Management

• Record and update shareholder information in Excel and the Share Management System.
• Digitalize all shareholder-related files to maintain an organized and accessible system.
• Maintain separate subsidiary ledgers and ensure proper filing for each shareholder.

2. Shareholder Relations & Communication

• Establish and maintain effective relationships with shareholders.
• Address shareholder inquiries and provide timely responses.
• Communicate necessary updates and information to shareholders.

3. Share Sales, Dividends, and Transfers Support

• Assist in the processing of share sales, dividend distributions, and share transfers.
• Work closely with the Senior Shareholder Accountant and Shareholders Affairs Manager for smooth transaction handling.
