Position: Shift Mechanical Technician

Qualifications:

TVET Diploma or bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
Proven experience in a similar role within the beverage or manufacturing industry.
In-depth knowledge of mechanical systems, utilities, and maintenance practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
Proficiency in budgeting and financial management.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.

Result areas responsibilities:

Able to maintain, modify, recondition and replace parts of brewing machineries.
Develop sketches and drawings for modification and installations.
Execute preventive and planned maintenance tasks as per schedule to increase availability& reliability and reduce unplanned downtime of Brewing and Cellar machines.
Take proactive actions before machine fails to ensure availability of machineries.
Carrie out quality maintenance in professional approach and avoids mistakes in maintenance to ensure smooth operation of production.
Monitors conditions of Brewing and Cellar machines continually and performs required adjustments.
Supports other Shift Brewing Mechanics in their maintenance duties.
Examine performance of Brewing and Cellar process equipment to detect and locate malfunctions and inefficiencies
Maintain precise record of maintenance information such as maintenance carried out, spare parts/materials used and work duration taken
