Global Insurance Company (S.C.) (GIC) is a Private Insurance Company which was established in March 1997 by 23 founding Shareholders, with a paid-up capital of Birr 3.75 million.

The company which started its business operation with less than 25 employees has now a total staff of 224 employees. In addition to its core business of general insurance, the company provides modern vehicles inspection service.

Position 1: Jr. Secretary/Cashier

Education: Diploma

Field of Study: Accounting/SSOM

Relevant Experience: Not required

Salary & benefit: According to Company scale & benefit package

Duty Station: A.A

Position 2: Branch Manager I

Education: BA/BSC

Field of Study: Management, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics and related fields.

Relevant Experience: 4  years as Senior Underwriting Officer/1 year as Branch Manager

Salary & benefit: According to Company scale & benefit package

Duty Station: A.A

Position 3: Finance and Investment Department Manager

Education: BA

Field of Study: Accounting

Relevant Experience: 10  years of which 3 years in Managerial position

Additional skill: Insurance accounting & IFRS Reporting

Salary & benefit: According to Company scale & benefit package

Duty Station: A.A
