Get-As International Plc. is a dynamic organization engaged in Real estate, Trading and Cross border transport. We are seeking a motivated Junior IT Support Technician to join our dynamic team.
Position: Junior IT Support Technician
Qualifications:
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant experience; minimum of 2 years for diploma and 1 year for Bachelor’s degree.
- Certification like Comp TIA A+, Network+, or similar are plus.
Preferred Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Capable with Equipment installation and configuration.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide first-level technical support to end-users via phone, email, and in-person.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and peripherals.
- Document and track support requests.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff on escalated issues and projects.
- Support onboarding and off boarding process by setting up user accounts and systems.
- Maintain and update user accounts and permissions in Active Directory.
- Ensure the security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
- Assist with inventory management of IT equipment and supplies.
- Participate in IT projects and initiatives as assigned.
