Ethiopost is Ethiopia’s principal postal service provider, with over 600 branches across the country. Ethiopost’s new vision is to be a global leader in postal services and a preferred partner in logistics, financial and government services.

Ethiopost is a state-owned enterprise (SOE) tasked with the establishment and expansion of postal services in the country. It is the designated postal operator (DPO) that provides postal services throughout the Ethiopian territory in order to fulfill the government’s universal service obligation (USO).

Position: Market Research Supervisor

Qualifications:

Degree in Marketing Management or Business Administration or related with 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and mentor a team of market research analysts. Provide guidance, support, and feedback to enhance individual and team performance.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their market research needs and develop research plans accordingly. Determine the appropriate research methodologies and data sources for each project.
• Oversee the execution of data collection efforts, including surveys, interviews, focus groups, and data mining from various sources such as market databases and online platforms.
• Lead the analysis of research data using statistical methods and market research tools. Extract meaningful insights from the data to present actionable recommendations to management.
• Interpret market trends and developments to identify new opportunities, competitive threats, and potential areas for business growth.
• Prepare comprehensive and visually engaging market research reports that convey key findings, conclusions, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Work closely with other departments, such as marketing, product development, and sales, to integrate market insights into their strategies and decision-making processes.
