Ethiopian Skylight Hotel invites qualified applicants for BILLING AND COLLECTION OFFICER, RESTAURANT / BAR MANAGER and MANAGER BANQUET job positions.

Position 1: BILLING AND COLLECTION OFFICER

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

BA Degree in Accounting/Accounting & Finance/Accounting Information System from recognized College/ University and a minimum of one year experience in hotel industry.
OR
A Minimum of College Diploma /10+3/ Level III Certificate in Accounting/Accounting & Finance/Accounting Information System from recognized TVET/College/University with a Minimum of three years related experience in hotel industry.

N.B.: Driving License is mandatory.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Create and issue invoices to customers, processing credit memos, preparing account statements for customers, follow-up & collect outstanding payments and answer customer queries.
Monitoring all payments and preparing monthly billing reports, managing account balances and resolving inconsistencies.
Assisting the accounting department with the preparation of financial reports.
Updating accounting records with issued invoices, processed payments, new balances, and customer contact information.

Position 2: RESTAURANT / BAR MANAGER

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

A Minimum of BA Degree in Hotel management/Food and Beverage Service/ Hotel Operation/ Restaurant Management/Hotel and Tourism Management /Cooperative Business management /Property Management /Management/Marketing Management or any related field of study from a recognized TVET/College/university with a minimum 9 years’ work experience on similar areas at catering production/Operation/front desk/office area, etc…
OR
MA Degree in Hotel management/Food and Beverage Service/ Hotel Operation/ Restaurant Management/Hotel and Tourism Management /Cooperative Business management /Property Management /Management/Marketing Management or any related field of study from a recognized TVET/College/university with a minimum 7 years’ work experience on similar areas at catering production/Operation/front desk/office area, etc…

JOB DESCRIPTION:

You will be responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Ethiopian Skylight Hotel standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations. The Restaurant/Bar Manager is responsible to manage the assigned outlet as a successful independent profit centre, in line with the outlet’s operating concept, ensuring maximum guest satisfaction while operating within budget, helping to ensure the financial success of the outlet.

Position 3: MANAGER BANQUET

JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Banquet Manager is responsible for assuring the success of all banquet events, while maintaining a profitable operation and high quality products and service levels. He/she is expected to share ideas to promote business; maintain revenue budgets; and meet budgeted productivity while keeping quality consistently high. This also includes working and communicating closely with all hotel departments and to ensure a successful and effective event resulting in a positive guest experience.
