Ethiopian Human Rights Commission Vacancy
Ethiopian Human Rights Commission (EHRC) is looking for qualified candidates to fill the following position.

Position 1: Associate Human Rights Officer
Qualifications and Experience:
- LLM/LLB Degree in Law, Human Rights Law, International Law.
- Zero years of experience for LLM holders. 2 years relevant experience or 6-12 months participation on Young Leaders Program (Internship Program).
- Computer literate
- Knowledge of Amharic required. Knowledge of other local languages is advantageous
SALARY RANGE: Gross monthly salary of ETB 17,750.00 – ETB 20,567.00 plus ETB 8,640.00 Housing allowance and ETB 3,300.00 Transport allowance, depending on candidates qualification, experience and earning history.
Location: Jigjiga City Office Head
Position 2: Human Rights Officer, Monitoring and Investigation
Qualifications and Experience:
- LLM/LLB Degree in Law, Human Rights Law, International Law.
- 4 years of relevant experience for LLB and 2 years of relevant experience for LLM.
- Computer literate
- Knowledge of Amharic required. Knowledge of other local languages is advantageous
SALARY RANGE: Gross monthly salary of ETB 20,400.00 – ETB 23,683.00 plus ETB 8,640.00 Housing allowance and ETB 3,300.00 Transport allowance, depending on candidates qualification, experience and earning history
Location: Jigjiga City Office Head
Position 3: Driver
Qualifications and Experience:
- Relevant Driving license.
- High School graduate (10th grade complete).
- Diploma or Certificate in Auto mechanic is a plus.
- 2 years of experience working as a Driver.
- Knowledge of Amharic is required. Knowledge of other local languages is advantageous.
SALARY RANGE: Gross monthly salary of ETB 8,536.00 – ETB 9,667.00 plus ETB 4,320.00 Housing allowance and ETB 3,300.00 Transport allowance, depending on candidates qualification, experience and earning history
