The U.S. Mission in Addis Ababa/Ethiopia is seeking eligible and qualified applicants for the positions of Human Resources Assistant, Procurement Agent and General Maintenance Worker.

Position 1: Human Resources Assistant
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: A minimum (3) of three years of progressively responsible experience in human resources or the administrative field is required.
Education Requirements:
EDUCATION: Completion of two years of general college studies is required.

Evaluations:
LANGUAGE:
Amharic Language Level 3 (Good working knowledge) is required. (This may be tested)
English language Level 3 (Good working knowledge) is required. (This may be tested)
Salary: $12,764
Position 2: Procurement Agent
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE: Three years of progressively responsible experience in the procurement and purchasing field is required.
Education Requirements:
EDUCATION: Two years of university studies are required.
Evaluations:
LANGUAGE:
- Level 4 (Fluent) Speaking/Reading/Writing Amharic is required.
- Level 4 (Fluent) Speaking/Reading/Writing English is required.
(You are required to pass the English Placement Test (EPT) that is conducted by the Human Resources Office).
Salary: $11,281
Position 3: General Maintenance Worker
Requirements:
EXPERIENCE:
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in the repair and maintenance of plumbing and commercial or industrial HVAC/mechanical heating, refrigeration, and ventilation systems.
Education Requirements:
EDUCATION:
- Completion of secondary school is required and completion of vocational training from an accredited institution recognized as producing journeyman-level technicians with specialization in the plumbing or general construction fields is required.
Evaluations:
LANGUAGE:
Level 3 (Good working knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing Amharic is required. (These may be tested).
Level 2 (Limited knowledge) Speaking/Reading/Writing English is required (These may be tested).
Salary: $7,893
