CARE NGO Vacancy Fresh Graduates 2024

Position: Finance Intern

Qualification:

  • BA degree in Accounting and Finance
  • 0 year of experience for fresh graduates
  • Knowledge of Excel and Microsoft word

Experience: Not Required

 The female-only internship program is a one-year program for fresh graduates who wish to develop their skills and career.  The objectives of the program are, empowering young female graduates and impacting the organization’s gender parity that provides emerging female talents an opportunity to apply knowledge and enhance skills through mentoring and coaching, expanding their professional network, working on value-added projects, gaining hands-experience, and getting acquainted with the oriental difference.

Required:

  • Good written and verbal Amharic, English, and language skills
  • Good computer proficiency (i.e., Ms. Word, excel,)
  • Firm belief in gender equality and sensitivity to vulnerable groups
  • Team player, flexible and ability to work under multi-cultural working setting
  • Quick learning ability, communication and strong interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Support with hold tax preparation ,
  • Assist Travel advance and project advance management ,
  • Assist Compiling financial backing documents for project advance that goes through Awash bank
  • Assist handling petty cash in the absence of Accounting Assistant
  • Assisting preparation of check and official transfer letter

Gender

  • Understanding and demonstrated commitment to the importance of gender, youth and social inclusion issues.
  • Demonstrated commitment to principles of Gender Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and PSEAH (safeguarding), as evidenced in previous positions / programming.
