Berhan Insurance S.C is one of prominent insurance company that provides general insurance service to customers at twenty five branches with a plan to expand further in Addis Ababa and regional towns. The company would like to invite potential candidates who fulfill job requirement for the following posts.

Berhan Insurance S.C. is one of the private insurance companies operating in the Ethiopian insurance market. It was established on October 30, 2010 with a paid up capital of Birr 9.7 Million, under proclamation No. 86/1994 by the initiation of Berhan Bank S.C and through the investment of 455 visionary founders.

Position 1: Junior System Support Officer

Educational Qualification:  BSC Degree in Computer science/Computer Engineering/Information system/or related fields from recognized College/University.

Experience: Minimum of 1 years’ experience, experience as hardware & software maintenance is more advantageous.

Place of work: Head Office


Position 2: Underwriting Officer II

Educational Qualification: BA/BSc Degree in Economics/Management /Statistics/Mathematics from a recognized College/University

Experience: Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience, of which 2 years as Underwriting Officer I position

Qty: 6

Place of work: Addis Ababa Branches


Position 3: Senior Underwriting Officer

Educational Qualification: BA/BSC/MA/MSC/MBA degree in Business Administration/Accounting/Economics/Management or related field of study.

Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience, of which 2 years as Underwriting Officer II

Qty: 4

Place of work: Addis Ababa Branches


Position 4: Senior Application Administrator

Educational Qualification:  MSc/BSc in Computer Science/Computer Engineering, Management Information, System or related field from a recognized College/University

Experience:  Minimum of 5 years of experience with strong understanding of functional domains, latest programming languages and successful application development and implementation experience

Place of work: Head Office

Position 5: Senior Accountant

Educational Qualification:  BA/BSC/MA/MSC/MBA degree in accounting or related field from a recognized University or College.

Experience:  Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience preferably in insurance industry is advantageous

Place of work: Head Office

Position 6: Senior Property Administration Officer

Educational Qualification: BA in Management/ Purchasing and Supplies Management or related

Experience:  5 years of relevant experience as Property Administration Officer preferably in insurance industry is advantageous

Place of work: Head Office

Position 7: Branch Manager II

Educational Qualification: BA/BSc Degree in Economics/management/ Accounting/Statistics or related fields from a recognized College/ University

Experience: A minimum of 6 years of experience in insurance operation of which 2 years as Branch Manager I position

Place of work: Addis Ababa Branches

Position 8: Branch Manager III

Educational Qualification: BA/BSc Degree in Economics/management/ Accounting/Statistics or related fields from a recognized College/ University

Experience: A minimum of 7 years of experience in insurance operation of which 2 years as Branch Manager II

Place of work: Addis Ababa Branches
