Berhan Insurance S.C is one of prominent insurance company that provides general insurance service to customers at twenty five branches with a plan to expand further in Addis Ababa and regional towns. The company would like to invite potential candidates who fulfill job requirement for the following posts.
Berhan Insurance S.C. is one of the private insurance companies operating in the Ethiopian insurance market. It was established on October 30, 2010 with a paid up capital of Birr 9.7 Million, under proclamation No. 86/1994 by the initiation of Berhan Bank S.C and through the investment of 455 visionary founders.
Position 1: Underwriting Officer I
- Qualification:Â BA/BSC degree in Business Administration/Accounting/Economics/Management or related field of study
- Work Experience:Â A minimum of 2 year of relevant insurance experience
- Place of Work:Â Hossana Branch
Position 2: Branch Manager I
- Qualification: BA/BSC/MA/MSC/MBA degree in Business Administration/Accounting/ Economics/Management or related field of study
- Work Experience:Â Must have a minimum of 6 years of experience in insurance operation of which 3 years in senior position.
- Place of Work:Â Bishoftu
Position 3: Underwriting District Manager
- Qualification:Â BA/BSC/MA/MSC/MBA Degree in Management/Accounting/Economics or related field of study.
- Work Experience:Â Must have a minimum of 8 years of relevant insurance related experience; 4 of which in senior positions
- Place of Work:Â Head office
Position 4: DCEO Underwriting, Re-insurance Operations
- Qualification:Â A minimum of BA/BSC preferably MA/MSC and MBA degree holder from recognized learning institutions in Banking and Insurance, Economics, Management, Accounting/Leadership, Business Administration or related field of discipline and Diploma or advanced Diploma from Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) or Life Office Management Association (LOMA)
- Work Experience: Must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in insurance, of which a minimum of 4 years of experience shall be in managerial capacity, insurance must be in any one or more of the core areas of general insurance operations
