Berhan Bank S.C was formed in accordance with Article 304 of the Commercial Code of Ethiopia with the objective of operating in the banking industry.

This objective has been ensured in Article 3 of the Memorandum of Association of the Company.

The Bank was registered and licensed by the National Bank of Ethiopia on 27 June 2009 with a paid up capital of Birr 95.7 Million divided in to shares of Birr 1,000 and an authorized capital of Birr 300 Million.

Position 1: Database administrator I

Qualification: B.sc degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related fields

Experience: two years related work experience Excellent database administration and SQL query writing skill

Any database related training is advantageous

Position 2: Database administrator II

Qualification: B.sc degree in Electrical Engineerin,Computer Engineering. Computer Science or related fields

Experience: Four years related work experience Excellent database administration and SQL query writing skill

OCA certification is advantageous OCP certification is a plus

Position 3: Database administrator III

Qualification: B.Sc degree in Electrical Engineering. Computer Engineering. Computer Science or related fields

Experience: Six years related work experience Excellent database administration and SQL query writing skill

OCA certification is advantageous OCP certification is a plus

Position 4: Security Engineer II

Qualification: B.Sc degree in Electrical Engineering. Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related fields

Experience: Four years related work experience

Strong skill in implementing security infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security devices
Strong skill in configuring and maintaining security devices and technologies, such as VPNs, SSL certificates, and encryption technologies.
Experience in managing access controls, permissions.

Position 5: Compute Infrastructure Engineer II

Qualification: B.sc degree in Electrical Engineering,Computer Engineering,Computer Science or related fields

Experience: Four years related work experience

Strong system administration Skill
Knowing AIX/Linux operating system, windows server, VMware, Active directory and Microsoft exchange is advantageous
Experience on IBM power server, storage is advantageous

Position 6: Network Engineer II

Qualification: B.sc degree in Electrical Engineering. Computer Engineering. Computer Science or related fields

Experience: Four years related work experience

Strong Network administration Skill
Strong skill in routing and switching Technology
CCNA training certificate is advantageous

Position 7: Network Engineer III

Qualification: B.sc degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related fields

Experience: Six years related work experience

Strong Network administration Skill
Strong skill in router and switch
Configuration CCNA training/certificate is advantageous

Position 8: Compute Infrastructure Engineer III

Qualification: B.Sc degree in Electrical Engineering,Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related fields

Experience: Six years related work experience

Strong system administration Skill Knowing AIX/Linux operating system, windows server, VMware, Active directory and Microsoft exchange is advantageous “Certification on virtualization Technology or server administration is Advantageous

Position 9: IT Project Officer III

Qualification: B.Sc degree in Electrical Engineering. Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related fields

Experience: Six years related experience, a minimum of 2 years proven experience in project implementation

Excellent project management skill
Project management professional or
equivalent training or any project management certification is advantageous

Position 10: Electrician II

Qualification: Diploma/Level IV TVET diploma in Electricity or related fields,

Experience: At least 3 years proven experience in installing, repairing and maintaining all types of electrical system equipment and components

Strong computer skill, knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials common to the electrical trade; applicable electrical codes, standards; electrical application for high and low voltage electric system and regulations;
Ability to maintain, install and configure generators, UPS, AC and electrical equipment
The position may perform more than electrical duties such as fire, emergency power systems, and/or security and alarm systems duties
Preferably with IT Background

Position 11: IT Project Manager

Qualification: B.sc degree in Electrical Engineering,Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related fields

Experience: Eight years related experience, a minimum of 5 years’ experience in implementation projects/Programs is required Bank projects implementation is Advantageous PMP Certification or related project management certification or Project management degree is a plus
