Awash Capital S.C invites qualified applicants for the following job positions.

Awash Capital S.C. is the investment banking arm of Awash Bank, established with initial capital of 200 million Birr. Our mandate is to deliver specialized financial and advisory services to help foster growth in Ethiopia’s emergent capital market, supporting businesses across strategic sectors such as infrastructure, manufacturing, and technology.

Position: The Chief Corporate Finance And Advisory Officer

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related fields
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role
• Strong knowledge of Ethiopian Capital Market regulations and securities operations
• Proven expertise in M&A, financial modeling, valuation, and capital markets
• CISI Level 1 certification (mandatory); CFA, ACCA, or CPA preferred
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead execution of corporate finance mandates including M&A, capital raising, and valuations
• Provide strategic financial advisory to corporate, institutional, and government clients
• Oversee financial modeling, due diligence, and transaction documentation
• Ensure compliance with ECMA, ESX, and internal policies
• Develop and implement departmental strategy aligned with company goals
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to product innovation
• Lead and mentor the corporate finance team, fostering a culture of excellence
• Manage risk, enforce internal controls, and uphold ethical standards
