Awash Bank, Ethiopia’s pioneering private bank, was established on November 10, 1994 after the downfall of the socialist regime. Position 1: Manager – Social Media and Digital Marketing Division

Qualification & Experience: BA Degree in Marketing Management, Business Management and Economics or equivalent field plus a minimum of eight (8) years Social Media Marketing experience with at least 3 years’ experience in a supervisory position.

The Job holder plans and executes social media and display advertising campaigns; Coordinate the creation of digital content; Design, build and maintain social media presence; Brainstorm new and creative digital marketing growth strategies; Evaluate social media emerging technologies; Maintain partnerships with media agencies and vendors; Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals; Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption of online media where appropriate.

Position 2: Digital Marketing (Marketing, Promotion, Agent and Merchant Branding) Division

Qualification & Experience: BA Degree in Marketing Management, Business Management and Ecocnomics or equivalent field plus a minimum of eight (8) years marketing and research experience with at least 3 years’ experience in a supervisory position.

The job holder is responsible for facilitating and ensuring the proper advertisement and promotion of all Digital Banking products and services using diversified mediums in collaboration with the Corporate Marketing office.

Position 3: Manager – IT Project Quality Assurance Division

Qualification & Experience: Msc Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related disciplines plus a minimum of eight (8) years of experience; in technical project quality assurance, software testing and system audit with three (3) years in a Supervisory role preferably in the banking sector.

  • Strong hands-on/Technical Knowledge on recent software test and Quality Assurance tools,
  • Knowledge of the Project Management and Governance and Knowledge of Enterprise applications SIT and UAT test case Development and Management.
  • Experience in all QA cycle, such test plan creation, test case creation and execution and reporting are a must
  • Participating in process working groups
  • Understanding of software testing lifecycles, in either agile or Waterfall environments
  • Adapt with MS Office Suite

Position 4: Manager – Conventional Products Development Division

Qualification & Experience:

Master/Bachelor’s Degree, preferable in fields of Business Administration, Accounting, Banking and Finance, Economics and Management or relevant academic background plus a minimum of 8 years of experience in banking preferably in product development.

Position 5: Manager – Information Security Governance and Risk Management Division

Qualification & Experience:

Bsc Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering and Information Technology plus a minimum of Eight (8) years’ experience in application security, it infrastructure security, cyber security governance, risk and compliance management and quality control with three (3) years in a supervisory role preferably in the banking sector.

Position 6: Customer Service Manager I

Qualification & Experience: BA Degree in Marketing, Accounting, Management, Economics or related discipline plus minimum of 5 years of experience with at least 3 years at operational work.

Position 7: Branch Manager Class IV Branch

Qualification & Experience: BA Degree in Business Administration, Management, Accounting, Banking & Finance, Economics plus minimum of 8 years of relevant banking experience of which 3 years in a supervisory position.

Position 8: Manager – IFB Products Development Division

Qualification & Experience: BA Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics and Management plus a minimum of eight (8) years in Banking operation , with at least 3 years in Managerial role preferably in the banking sector.

The Job holder is responsible to plan, organize, lead, and control the IFB product Development division. S/he is responsible for IFB product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle, including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with various work units to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. S/he ensures that the product supports the company’s overall strategy and goals. The jobholder continually collects and analyses relevant market and competitor information to assess market position and identify threats and opportunities.

Position 9: Manager – Technical Services Division

Qualification & Experience: BA Degree in Management, Accounting, Business Administration and Economics with technical certification on electricity & general mechanics (added advantage) plus a minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience, with at least 3 years’ experience in a supervisory position.

The job holder is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and evaluating the activities of the division.  S/he handles and resolves requests of support from branches and head quarter organs, follow-up different activities which helps opening of new branches.
