Position 1: Junior Customer Accounts & Due diligence Officer

Qualifications: BA in HRM, Management, Business Administration, and related fields.

Work Experience: 1-year relevant experience in banking operations.

Essential Functionality:

  • Handle the overall customer accounts and due diligence operation in line with NBE directives and Amhara Bank procedures;
  • Receive and check e-documents to authorize new customer accounts as per the NBE’s directives;
  • Handle the business relation termination reports, and receive /notify mal-operation/delinquent reports from/to NBE and branches;
  • Follow-up regions/branches are undertaking the full range of Customer Due Diligence (CDD) measures, on a risk-based approach in accordance with Financial Intelligence Offices’ directive and the Bank’s Policy on Anti Money Laundry (AML);
  • Provide verified information to all inquiries related to customer account confirmation by external bodies such as Police, Court, NBE, National Intelligence Center, etc.;

Position 2: Administrative Assistant – I

Qualifications: BA/Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting and Finance, Banking and Finance, Marketing, Management, Any other related field,

Work Experience: 1/One/|3/Three/years of relevant experience preferably in Banking industry

Essential Functionality:

  • Receiving and distributing messages;
  • Creating and periodically updating records;
  • Periodic monitoring of office supplies and control of shortages;
  • Solve office-related problems (including those under the office) and respond to questions or issues;
  • Perform office tasks, such as filing, preparing reports and documents for presentations, arranging meetings, and requesting/ordering adequate supplies;

Essential Functionality:

  • Design, develop, customize, configure, and implement software solutions;
  • Plan, design, develop, test, and implement test plans and strategies for new software development;
  • Develop and maintain software documents, including requirements and design specifications;
  • Documenting code and creating technical specifications and documentation;
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends and technologies;
  • Recommend new technologies as needed;
  • Collaborate with other developers to ensure the quality of software;

  • Working to establish a project ad hoc team for each project;
  • Working to establish a project working environment for project ad hoc teams;
  • Conducting projects meeting and communications including taking a minute;

  • Mentor and enable staff below his/her grades towards achieving effective performance;
  • Participate in developing, reviewing, and implementing policies & procedures, plan /budget, and performance report of the division;

Qualifications: 10th/12th Grade Complete

Work Experience: Two/2 years of relevant experience

Essential Functionality:

  • Receive and deliver documents, materials, and supplies from office to office within the company.
  • Securely delivers packages, documents, written and verbal messages, and other items to the intended location or recipient in a timely manner.

Position 7: Senior Customer Service Officer – Cash

Essential Functionality:

  • Perform KYC and Customer due diligence upon opening accounts
  • Receive and deliver physical cash from and to customers,
  • Collect/pay cash and debit/credit the respective accounts,
  • Update passbook, print deal slip, or issues customer advice,
  • Issue and sign Payment Instruments,
  • Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications: BA in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, Banking & Insurance, Marketing, Business Administration, Management, and related fields.

Work Experience: 3 years of relevant experience in banking operations as CSO, CSR, and CSE

Work Experience: 5 years of relevant experience in the Banking Industry of which 2 years as HR officer.

Essential Functionality:

  • Plan, process and manage staff recruitment, selection and onboarding activities in accordance with the HR procedure of the bank;
  • Interpret and implement human resource directives within terms of reference; ensures that corporate human resource policies, rules, and regulations are adhered;

  • Coordinate project quality assurance activities;
  • Coordinate and ensure all project planning activities are handled properly and required documents are developed and delivered;

  • Engage and perform customer recruitment and account opening activities
  • Initiates cash transfer from/to cash,
  • Receives and delivers physical cash from and to Casher,
  • Collects/pays cash and debit/credits the respective accounts,
  • Checks and balance physical cash with the Cashier,
  • Retrieve customer signatures, and pictures and verify customers and,

Position 15: Senior Digital Banking Officer

Qualifications: BA in Business Administration, Accounting and Finance, Banking and Finance, Marketing, Management, Economics or any other related fields,

Work Experience: 5/Five years of relevant experience in the banking industry of which 2 years as digital banking officer.

Essential Functionality:

  • Develop deployment plan for ATMs, POS, and other digital channel devices by identifying feasible locations, merchants, and operators;
  • Participate in the development of initiatives on digital banking business requirements in collaboration with cross-functional units;
  • Closely follow up and evaluate the performance of ATMs and POSs and other digital channels deployed in various outlets and prepare redeployment proposals for those poorly performing;
  • Initiate, introduce, and redesign users’ need-tailored digital channel products and services that would adhere to both dynamically changing customers preferences and the payment landscape;

  • Lead and provide oversight of the Bank’s ethics and integrity-related issues to assure compliance with legal, regulatory, policy, and ethical requirements impacting the Bank.
  • Develop, revise as necessary, and monitor the implementation of the Bank’s ethics and integrity plan, consistent with Amhara Bank policy.
  • Provide oversight of the ethics risk assessment process.

Work Experience: 7 years of relevant experience in the Banking Industry of which 1 year as Assistant Branch Manager/CSM or Relationship Manager.

Essential Functionality:

  • Lead in the development and revision of the branch office’s functional strategy aligned with the business-level strategy of the Bank;
  • Support regular checks on service delivery at the branch through methods such as customer surveys at the branch to determine customers ‘perception & experience of the Bank’s service;
