Ahadu Bank S.C Vacancy no. AHB/003/23:

Position 1: Senior Marketing Officer

Education: MSC, MA, BSC, BA in Communications, Marketing Management, Business Administration or other related fields of study.

Experience Requirement: 3/5 years of experience in relevant position in the banking industry of which 2 years as Principal Communication Officer or equivalent position 

Job Description

  • Assist in development of short- and long-term plans and budgets for the marketing and communications program and its activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance
  • Handles any event, meetings, social gatherings and communication with external medias
  • Carry out regular market assessment to evaluate the effectiveness level of commercials and brand image acceptance and recommend opportunities to enhance market share
  • Initiate, coordinate and oversee programs, technical assistance and resource materials to assist branches in the marketing, communications and positioning of their activities
  • Identify and implement systematic workflows to ensure timely delivery of marketing services
  • Develop & maintain strong working relationship with partners, business contacts and industries
  • Identify, implement and monitor systems and procedures necessary to the smooth operation of the marketing function
  • Develop various proposals which enables to enhance the bank’s marketing activities brand visibility
  • Follow up the appearance and consistency of all print and electronic materials such as letterhead, use of logo, brochures, etc are executed as per the bank’s manual.

Position 2: Senior Communications Officer

Qualification Requirement: MSC, MA, BSC, BA in Communications, Marketing Management, Business Administration or other related fields of study.

Experience Requirement: 3/5 years of experience in relevant position in the banking industry of which 2 years as Principal Communication Officer or equivalent position 

Job Description

  •  Assist all marketing, communications and public relations activities including publications, media relations, and so forth;
  • Write, announce or distribute press releases to introduce new products and services, new members of the management team, expansions and other newsworthy developments
  • Create and implement a comprehensive marketing and communications program that will enhance the Bank’s image and position within the market and the general public and measure the success of each implemented program
  • Manage media relations and maximize media opportunities by developing strong relationships with media representatives;
  • Assist all marketing, communications and public relations activities including publications, media relations, and so forth
  • Undertake and follow up the proper executions of Bank’s desired image and position, assure consistent communication of image and position throughout the Bank
  • Follow up the appearance and consistency of all print and electronic materials such as letterhead, use of logo, brochures, etc are executed as per the bank’s manual
  • Keep informed of developments in the fields of marketing, and communications and use this information to help the bank operate with initiative and innovation.

Position 3: Team Leader, Marketing

Qualification: MSC, MA, BSC, BA in Communications, Marketing Management, Business Administration or other related fields of study.

Experience: 5/7 years of experience in relevant position in the banking industry of which 2 years as Principal Communication Officer or equivalent position. 

Job Description

  • Develop short- and long-term plans and budgets for the marketing and branding activities, monitor progress, assure adherence and evaluate performance
  • Plan and execute marketing initiatives including ATL & BTL campaigns, events, sponsorships and corporate social responsibility programs
  • Coordinate and oversee programs, technical assistance and resource materials to assist branches in the marketing, communications and positioning of their activities;
  • Oversee strategies and marketing campaigns across print, broadcast, and online platforms to ensure that products and services meet customers’ expectations and to ensure that all marketing materials are in line with the bank’s brand identity.
  • Measure and report on the success of marketing campaigns and events including assessing ROI and KPIs
  • Conduct relevant market research regularly, coordinate and oversee the research and monitor trends;
  • Develop & maintain strong working relationship with partners, creative teams, external agencies and vendors to deliver work on time & within the allocated budget.

Position 4: Manager, Corporate Communications

Qualification: MSC, MA, BSC, BA in Communications, Marketing Management, Business Administration or other related fields of study  1

Experience: 7/9 years of experience in relevant position in the banking industry of which 2 years as Principal Communication Officer or equivalent position.

Job Description:

  •  Plan, Organize, direct and control activities of the Corporate Communication Division. Perform a managerial role typically in communication functions, focusing on content development, editorial, event management, documentation, media and public relation.
  • Assist executive management in developing presentations, speeches, annual reports and other important corporate messages

  •  Manage media relations and maximize media opportunities by developing strong relationships with media representatives;
  •  Develop and implement the social media strategy and policy of the bank and ensure the adoption of relevant social media techniques into the corporate culture;
  • Develop, implement, and review communication associated policies with implementation plans;
  • proper documentation of all communication materials, audios, videos, photographs, certificates and the like
  • Ensure consistent communication of the Bank’s mission and values across all channels.

Position 5: Branch Manager I

Required Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in  Banking & Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration or other related fields of studies. 

Required Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience at a Bank out of which One (1) Year as Customer Services Manager or equivalent role.  

Job Description

  • The Branch Manager will plan, organize, lead, and control the banking activities of a branch office. S/he will ensure that operating procedures, rules, and code of practices of the Bank and regulators directives and country law are adhered to by all staff. S/he will also coordinate the sales/business development efforts of the branch.
  • The Branch manager will also lead the customer service initiatives and guides branch operational excellence. S/he will prepare and submit annual budget, work plan and activity and progress reports. The jobholder will also participate in various community activities and keep in close touch with the business community to promote services offered by the Bank.
