Position: Associate UX/UI Designer

Education:-BSC Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information System, Electrical and Computer                              Engineering or other related fields. Certificate in UX/UI/graphic design is advantageous.

Experience:-Minimum of 4 years’ professional experience, of which 3 years in the area of UX/UI or Graphic Design.                           Experience in banking industry is advantageous.

1. Job Objective:

Designs user experiences (UX) and user interfaces (UI) for products with growing independence and ownership.

2. Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Executes design tasks across research, wire framing, prototyping, and visual design, while receiving guidance from senior designers and continuously advancing their skills. 
  • Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, usability tests, field studies, and competitor analysis.
  • Assist in conducting UX research and translating findings into low-to-mid fidelity wireframes.
  • Participate in defining and refining personas using research insights.
  • Support the creation of intuitive UI elements such as icons, layouts, components etc.
  • Support the Help design of user flows, interaction models, and screen transitions.
  • Organize content and features using information architecture and sitemap planning.
  • Contribute to maintaining UI/UX documentation and design libraries.
  • Collaborate with IT team to ensure UI implementation reflects design intent.
  • Participate in design critiques and agile team discussions to refine design output.
  • Learn and apply core UX principles like usability, hierarchy, and user psychology.
  • Test the developed application to ensure the implemented UI/UX by the IT team matches the approved designs.
  • Support problem definition by summarizing user needs and challenges from research data.
  • Explore multiple ideation techniques such as sketching, storyboarding, and card sorting to contribute design ideas.
  • Assist in developing user scenarios and use cases to validate design direction.
  • Practice version control and design history tracking to maintain a clear design process.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day aspects of the team including planning/scheduling, process management, and task delivery with regard to assigned responsibility. 
  • Assist in establishing and monitoring metrics to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Prepare, consolidate, review and deliver periodic reports.
  • Act upon duties of UX/UI Designer in his/her absence.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
