Abronet Savings and Credit Cooperative is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accountant for its Addis Ababa Branch. The Accountant will work closely with the Branch Manager to ensure proper management, recording, and reporting of all financial activities in full compliance with organizational financial guidelines and standards.

Position 1: Accountant

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Economics, Accounting, or a closely related field.
Minimum of 1 -2 years of relevant work experience in a Savings and Credit Cooperative (SACCO) or the banking sector.
Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Peachtree Accounting software.

Location: Mekelle

Position 2: Branch Manager

Qualifications:

Master’s Degree (MA/MBA/MSc): Minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience in the financial sector (Banking, SACCO, or Microfinance), with at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory position.
Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BSc): Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in the financial sector, with at least 4 years in a managerial or supervisory position.
