Awash Bank New Job vacancies June,2021


Awash bank has been provided more than 11 million birr to the government and non-government organizations at the national level to provide humanitarian assistance to the victims.

Awash Bank has reached Birr 74.3 billion at the end of the 2019/20 fiscal year With a 19 percent increase in deposits.

Loans provided to various sectors of the economy reached Birr 57.3 billion with a 21 percent increase . On the other hand, the Bank’s default rate was 1.7 percent at the end of the fiscal year.

This is a very good performance in terms of the 5% rate set by the National Bank and the loan is guaranteed. At the end of the fiscal year, the Bank’s total assets grew by 19.7 percent to Birr 89.3 billion.

The capital of the bank By the end of June 30, 2020, Birr 5.85 billion, showing an increase of Birr 1.46 billion or 33.4 percent from Birr 4.38 billion. The paid up capital of the bank will reach 12 billion birr over the next three years. The bank has registered an annual profit of Birr 3.6 billion.

On the other hand, in the 2019/20 fiscal year Awash Bank closing inaugurated a six-storey building in Jimma town. It has started construction of new buildings in Addis Ababa’s Bulbula branch and in Bale Robe.

In order to build the capacity of the Bank’s staff, it has successfully provided trainings in the Bank’s training department.

Accounts receivable – Ethiopians living abroad and those of Ethiopian descent who meet the above requirements may come forward and open this account. Applicants who are unable to apply in person and want to open this account can do so through the Ethiopian Embassies in their home countries.

Authorized individuals may not open this account on behalf of their representative. However, if their power of attorney is clearly stated, they may move this account on behalf of their representative.
